I have a Silverado 1500 with a 8’ long box. Will this work? Was thinking of using the Anderson hitch.

Thanks!

Yes, it works fine. Because within a particular brand of truck the distance between the end of the box (tailgate) and the axle is the same in all boxes. In the long box, the added length is between the axle and the front of the bed.

Donna nails it!

Thanks Donna! It makes sense when you think it over that they’d build them that way. I’m another step closer to becoming an Escapee now!
