I should post this under General Discussion, but maybe this is better.
Just received and watched my copy of Caravaners, a National Film Board of Canada documentary that was filmed about 30 years ago.
"The three hundred Airstream trailers that are prowling the highways of British Columbia represent a new breed of nomad. Too active to just sit at home, but too cautious to strike out on their own, these retired couples have signed up for an organized caravan tour sponsored by the company that manufactures the trailers. Few surprises are in store for the group, but then they're never alone, and they don't have to worry about the day's route or entertainment."
The video runs 27 min. 42 sec. and is a hoot to watch from beginning to end.
I think my buddy Chuck and I have the first two copies, since the NFB is converting their film library to DVD and when they get a request ( like ours ) they move that film to the top of the list.
You can check out the titles and find order info for this video on www.nfb.ca
Jeff....you have to have this film.
