Carlisle or Carlstar Tires on your new Escape

If you have recently bought a new Escape, are the tires branded as Carlstar Radial Trail HD or Carlisle Radial Trail HD. I just ordered a new set from Amazon and they are branded as Carlstar. Thinking I might have been sent the wrong tires, research showed that Carlstar has always produced the Carlisles, and recently decided to change the brand on the tires. The tires I received were dated in December of 2023.

I believe the change was implemented in late 2023

We picked up our Escape 21ne on 9/11/2023 and my tires are the RadialTrail HD Carlisle. 205/75 R15


So they were still supplying them then.

I bought a set of these from Amazon a month back. Like you I was worried when the Carlstar's showed up on my front porch and immediately checked the website to find the name change. My tires were manufactured Nov 2023. They're nice looking tires, BTW.

Our May 2019 built E19 had Rainier tires on it originally.
