Carport query

how tall is a 5.0? im thinking of getting some kind of car port /cover too. i am getting air but not sure about high lift?
The 5.0TA is about 9' 7" tall. If you add a lift to the axle, or put on a Jack Antenna, you will be adding to this. This is one reason I did not get an antenna and will use a mast mounted one instead. I never got the raised axle either. I had it on my 19, and even with doing a fair bit of gravel and dirt roads, never felt I really needed it. I can easily fit it inside a 10' O/H door.

Interesting. Our 2016 5.0TA, with high lift axle measured at 10'-4" per Reace at the factory when we picked it up. Installed on our RAM 2500 that has tall bed... Maybe once snow melts and I re-hook, I will re-measure again. At factory, tanks were empty i believe and all our gear was not added yet. Also we had Jack Antenna.

If you have the Jack Antenna Ernie, that sounds about right.

My 2014, with the Jack antenna is 10'6", no high lift axle. There may be a difference with the NBS (new body style).
I figured if the doorway was 14 foot tall it would be the same as most semi-truck trailers. I used to strap a 17 ft canoe on top of an earlier rig...........
