Purchased a Classic Accessories PermaPRO cover for the Escape 15. As you can see, it’s a little big for the 15, but I am OK with that. For $114 (Amazon) I think it’s a bargain.

I found it interesting that the trailer shown on the cover’s label was an Escape 17.

I purchased the Model 2, which fits molded fiberglass trailers with bodies between 10.5’ and 13’ Long. I know they had a few other models for smaller and larger trailers.

I too bought one for my 21', a "Model 0". When I purchased it I was told that this is the right size for the 21'. When I get it home the box label says it's for a trailer 15'-18'. Has anyone else out there bought the "custom fitted" cover from ETI for a 21'? If so what model did you get and how well does it fit?

I purchased the Classic Accessories cover for my 2017 Escape 19 from Amazon for $104 a few months ago and it fits just right. I think the Amazon price is now about $120. Still a good price. The zippered door is in the right spot and we are Very happy with it so far. We’ve only had it for a few months now so we will see how it wears. We are in Southern California so mostly sun protection not rain. We have solar and air conditioning and it covers those snag points just fine. It even allows enough light through to keep the batteries charged with our solar.
The part number we ordered was 80-409-161001-RT PolyPro 3 Molded Fiberglass Camping Trailer Cover, 13'1"-16' Long

Thanks for sharing this. Can you comment on how hard it is to fit it over the trailer? I was looking at getting this cover but hesitated because the specified width was only 80”.

That is the part number for the cover I bought at the Escape factory for my 19 a few months ago. It was about $300 Cdn. It fit perfectly but in less than 2 months the top has disintegrated to the point where it is not usable. I contacted Classic assuming that I would be told that they had a run of faulty material or had used the wrong type of material in the cover. They did not attribute it to anything but said that they will replace the cover under warranty when more arrive around the end of October. I am at a loss what to think. If anyone else has experience with the covers please let me know.Note that the side walls are fine as it is just the white top in the Polypro 3 version. They do not make the regular Polypro for the 19 but I wish they did.

oh No - i just bought the 5.0 cover from Escape -hope it doesn't fall apart! It wont get hard work just to keep my roof clean this winter so i have less work up there! i haven't put it on yet - had my trailer waxed for the winter i just cant reach the roof my ares are too short.

The top of my cover just disintegrated within ten weeks of putting it on in San Jose California.
No rain just sunshine.

Was your cover a PolyPro or PermaPro? They seem to have two grades of covers. Wondering if the slightly more expensive PermaPro is better?

Hi there,

We just installed the cover sold by Escape for our new 21. Fit is very good in my opinion, much better than the cover we had for our camper. Was pleased to see that the walls are long enough to cover around 90% of the wheels as well. Lots of straps to secure it so it shouldn't blow much in the wind. Hopefully it will be as robust as our camper cover which held up well over six or so very rainy Vancouver winters.

In the past, I used the PolyPro3 (various brands) to cover my previous trailer. Generally, I was lucky to get two years out of them before the fabric would disintegrate.

The cover i recently purchased for the Escape (post #1) was the PremaPro, a different type of fabric, more of a nylon weave. We will see if it is any better.

We have 2016 (new body style) 21ft. escape and have been pricing the classic adventure covers. Has anyone purchased one for their 21 and could recommend which size?

It wasn’t too hard to put it on, just put it on top and rolled it across the top. You have to take care on not catching on the protruding points on the roof like the solar panel. It does fit snug but it fits. Of course now I’m a little worried about the top panel ripping as reported by marv1212. I have to admit the white panel does seem more delicate than the gray sides. I guess I’ll find out.

I prefer the snug look in #19 vs the blouse type look in #18, but that is my personal preference. Is there an opening for the door in either ?
