Early on after picking up our Escape 19, we noticed the closet door mirror reflected a sort of "fun house" type distored reflection. I remember being told during our new trailer orienatation that the "mirror" wasn't actually a real mirror, but didn't give it much thought at the time. After sitting in our driveway for 5 weeks (with exception of a short fishing trip to the eastern Sierra early in August) I noticed a couple days ago that the mirror had buckled like a piece of bacon inside the closet door frame. Being a thin piece of flexible plastic, I was able to push it back into the frame and, so far, the "stickum" (which appears to be silicone sealant) has held it in place. The temps here in our sunny SoCal area hit the middle to high 90 degrees F for about a week. I have windows and vents open to keep the trailer as cool as possible, but I wonder if the hot weather might have loosened the "glue" that holds the mirror in place. Has anyone else experienced this; and, if so, is there a solution to this problem?
