Hello Fellow Escapees... Loons ape here. We only used out Mach three times since we bought two years ago. Last August I turned it on an a brief Puff of smoke or vapor came out the it died. Fuse seems ok... Any. suggestions.

Thanks off next week for two weeks in Rollins Pond... Adirondacks.

Thank you all

Dennis and Maricelis

I would open it up and make sure that the wiring is tightly connected. Its possible that if the factory didn't fully tighten one of the electrical connections and that the connection vibrated loose over time.

Aside from that, make sure you're getting 120VAC delivered to the AC.

I always start out with checking the capacitor.

Sounds like a job for an experienced repair person. Especially if it's still under warranty! The "puff of smoke or vapor" does not bode well, in my mind.
