Completion date in July! What do we need for 1st time use?

Hi All! After many years of building our dream Escape we have finally placed the order! We are getting a 21C loaded to the gills because we plan for this to be our first and only RV. Anyone have a list of what we need to bring with us for our first camping outing as far as tools, hoses, etc that aren't supplied by Escape? We opted for the compost toilet (I know, very mixed feelings about that here. lol) so we don't need anything for the black tank (though we did have the tanks added in case we decide to install a regular toilet later). We are staying at the Oostema Farmstead with full hook-ups. Although we won't have our trailer yet we plan on visiting with those of you going to the rally in Osoyoos so we can learn from the experts. Thanks in advance!

I would suggest 2 white water hoses for fresh water use, and a pressure regulator which screws onto the hose before it goes onto the trailer. A couple of extension cords. A 30A to 15/20A adapter. Paper towel. Toilet paper. Cutlery. A couple of sharp knives. Spatula. Pots and pans. Plates, bowls, cups. A butane wand lighter or matches. A hot pad or two. Some blocks for leveling the trailer, and wheel chocks are a must-have. Might want some ramp-style levelers besides the regular blocks. A tool box with a few tools (socket set, crescent wrench, screwdrivers, pliers). And maybe just in case... a roll of duct tape, lol.

Here is some suggestion list / picture I found by another person.
I don’t carryall of the items, but some good suggestions.

I carry two different color hoses, one is a potable water hose, (yes not all hoses are for drinking water) the other is for rinsing the black water hose. I keep them separated form each other. I alway connect the two end together during storage on the potable water hose and run it for a short bit before hooking it up to the trailer.

Yup, as long as the atlas shows Walmart locations you're good to go. You can find just about anything you'll need, including overnight parking, at Walmarts.

We're not Walmart shoppers at home but they're sure handy when on the road.

To echo Ron, our first stop after picking up our trailer was a Walmart. We had a list made, and we did all of our trailer stocking in about an hour and a half.

Turn your fridge on when you get your trailer, so it’s already for the groceries.

Don’t forget the sewage hose!

Definitely get a Robertson square bit screwdriver set #1 and #2 bits if I remember correctly. Most of the screws on our trailers use these and is necessary.

Our 2022 21C came with a very nice Escape supplied screw driver. It had multiple styles and sizes of bits in the handle. It's a very nice piece.

Last year when we picked up our trailer ETI included a few small gifts.

Ditto on the multi fittings screwdriver it is a good one.
A sewer hose , not a great one , but it works.
A fitting to winterize the trailer with air.
An adaptor to allow you to plug the 30 amp electric cable into a 20 amp plug.
A very nice ink pen with Escape Trailer printed on it.
Think that was all of it.

One thing I see a lot is make sure you know, and allow for, your trailer to make a tighter arc than your tow vehicle. Trailers do not follow in the tracks of the TV, but cut the corner and take the shortest path around a turn. Especially on right hand turns. When practicing in a lot place a cone or other object (not your spouse!) in the lot and drive a corner around the object.
While camping at Royal Gorge one time we saw a new large trailer with 2 wheels up on the side of a large boulder. There is a circle drive in front of the office with trees and rocks in the middle. He was not watching the path of his trailer in the mirrors and damaged the brand new trailer quite badly.
