converter rebuild??

The converter of our 2021 went out this week. A camp world on our way to the destination had one so I swapped it out. The told me it was discontinued already. I saved the old one, do people rebuild them?

I would replace a dead WFCO converter with a PD4655... Replace the 55 part with the capacity of the inverter being replaced... I've also done this with a dead Parallax converter in a Casita, Same PD4645 was a drop in replacement and a superior battery charger.
