My home is wired for a 50 amp RV, and I've noticed some RV parks provide only a 50 amp. There are products (pigtails) that have a male end of 50 amp with a 30 amp female end. Has anyone used these products and are these devices safe?

Yes, dogbones are used widely and they're safe. If you have a 30 amp electrical system you can't draw more than 30 amps anyway. Your breakers protect the internal circuitry.

I carry one & have had to use it in a couple of parks. Another advantage is when the park's 30 amp receptacle is badly worn, you can plug into the less used 50 amp one.
