Cooktop Hold Downs?

When we purchased our 2018 Escape 19, we had ETI install the flattop Dometic Cooktop, Model # 2BR-1066050. Two of the underneath-the-counter plastic hold down clamps have now broken.

I've tried using small toggle bolts to clamp the 2 uneven surfaces underneath the stove together but the depth difference between to surfaces is too great for the toggle to take hold on both surfaces, the cooktop and the counter cutout. The original bolts are a very small diameter metric bolt so, unless I drill the holes larger, I can't use anything bigger than a size 6 bolt. Length is about 2".

I have been unable to locate any replacement parts, perhaps because I don't know what to call it. There's no description or part number on the parts diagram. I've been using Dometic and cooktop and hold down as search terms, in different combinations.

Anyone have any ideas re: where to find these widgets? Or perhaps another way to fasten the cooktop to the counter. I'm thinking of a bead of adhesive underneath the entire parameter on the top surface, if all else fails, knowing it will make removal harder in the future. I don't think heat would be an issue with the adhesive; the top itself never gets that hot.

Here are some pictures of a good part, not the broken ones.

Are you handy?

For the money they're asking, I'd fab my own, or try glueing/patching the broken ones.
With some cutting & rasping, wooden ones could be fabricated. A tough wood like ash, walnut or hickory might be good.

Replacing them makes me wonder how long the plastic replacements would last.

Metal ones might be best. Can you bend and fabricate something out of aluminum or steel strip stock?

It would be interesting to see where they broke. If the break is at a sharp 90 degree-ish angle, I wouldn't be surprised. A slight radius needs to be put there, as it is a stress concentration area.

An adhesive would work too, and there are high temperature rated adhesives out there.
That route would be quickest and possibly provide some shock absorption.

Good luck.

Looks like something the could be modeled and fabricated with a 3-d printer pretty easily. But it looks like I have a different cooktop, so I don't have access to the part.

I would think that any good sheet metal shop would be able, if provided one of the unbroken retainers, would be able to fabricate replacements out of a more durable material such as aluminum or steel.
