I am preparing to install the Lift Kit on my E 19. I was hoping to get input on lifting and supporting Escape trailer so it is stable and safe to tackle both axles. Position for 4 point blocking. I understand from E Trailer that 4" is sufficient lift to reinstall wheels with lift blocks installed.
Did others find electric brake wires were long enough to accommodate the drop? Were lift block centres on holes matching frame spacing? Any tips with the install procedure?

Dexter Lift Kit

I installed a Dexter lift kit on my Escape 2022 19. Instructions are included and it is simple to install. I was lucky I had a friend with a lift in his RV garage. It took about 2 hours to install, and I am very happy with it. All my plumbing is above the axel and should not get damaged from debris on rough roads. Good luck with the mod.

Had no problem installing the lift kit on my 1st generation 19. You will need a torque wrench to do the job properly--if you don't own one, you can rent one. Just as with your wheels, you will want to re-torque everything after about a thousand miles of use just to be safe.

Im considering lifting my 19' escape. if I do, I would like to increase the tire size a little. Has anyone done this and what size were you able to put on it with no issues?

Increasing tire size do you mean diameter? If so why? The dual axles on the E19 are overkill but great to have. I especially found the independent Dexter torsion suspension was unbelievable when hitting the Alaska highway with such a beat up surface. I did put on Goodyear Endurance tires to give better sidewall support.

Installing the lift is easy. You will need a pretty good sized torque wrench to reach the recommended 100 ft. lbs. of torque in the confined space under the trailer though.

Larger tires? I'd hoped to do the same with my 1st gen. 19 since its original tires are 14 inch ST's and I wanted to convert to 15 inch LT tires for a better selection of options. Tire guys said I didn't have enough room. My axles are 29.5 inches apart, space between ST tires is 3.5 inches.

Check with a good tire shop and let us know what they say.
