We are looking for a dish Pan that fits in the standard Stainless Steel sink in a 2021 model. Anyone found something like this and able to share where to get my hands on one?

Thank You!

I kinda gave up on the dishpan stuff when I spent time in Arizona boondocking. I NOW use a dish soap that doesn't require water. Yes, to rinse, but not to wash. So dishes go in the sink and I scrub them with a sponge saturated with Dawn Platimum Powerwash. And then rinse. Love the stuff. Now using it in my sticks 'n bricks. YMMV

FWIW, we use it at home too for delicate hand wash items, knives, graters, strainers etc.

You can google DIY refill recipes that work quite well for pennies compared to buying Dawn branded refills.

We didn't use it camping last year, but I'm going to suggest it to the dish-washer,. as we haven't found a quality sink basin for our E19.

I too use the Dawn Powerwash. My Bigfoot has a double sink that has somewhat small rectangular basins. I did find a dish pan for it at H Mart (a Korean owned international foods grocery chain) They have a lot of odd home stuff that comes and goes over the year.

I found a plastic dish pan at Dollar Tree $1.25 that fits. Not very sturdy so don’t how long it will last.

We do have a dishpan that fits in the 2015 5.0TA sink we bought at Walmart but they no longer stock the same size at local Walmart locations.

On another line of thought, we do not use Dawn Powerwash for dishes because most dishes go into the diswasher at home, and when we are out in the trailer, we typically use paper plates unless the meal includes a meat that requires cutting, then we use Corelle plates. We do not find it difficult to wash the eating utensils or rarely, the Corelle. I do however rely on Dawn Powerwash to clean my bicycle chains, spraying it on the chain and sprockets, then scrubbing with appropriate brushes, and rinsing with water. It works great for this purpose. I then use a leaf blower to dry everything and then lube the chain.

We have 2 of these, grey only when we bought them. One sits well in the sink for wash water the other on the counter with rinse water. they collapse well and store nicely under the oven. They fit in our 5,0 nice and snugly.

we 'discovered' Dawn Powerwash earlier this year. Sadly, we've got to discontinue using it, as its givng my wife bad rashes, even where it splatters on her.

btw, 1 part Dawn concentrate, 2 parts rubbing alcohol, and 7 parts water makes a refill of it. but there's no replacement for the foam sprayer.

Without regard, or in addition to dishwashing, I like the look of those for various 'toting tasks' at the campsite (e.g carrying dining & cooking implements / condiments / etc to and from a nearby outdoor table).

Thanks for the link! (y)

That's too bad for your wife. I hand wash all my dishes, trailer and home and the Powerwash doesn't even dry out my hands.

Here's a simple formula for DIY Dawn Powerwash spray, excerpted from WikiHow:
  • Pour 13 fluid ounces of water into a bottle fitted with a spray nozzle.
  • Add in 4 tablespoons of blue Dawn Dish Soap or another soap of your choice. You can use a soap without added scent and color if that is your preference.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol.
  • Gently mix, swirling the bottle to mix the formula together.
You can add essential oils if you enjoy a specific scent like peppermint, lemon, or lavender. The alcohol will add a bit of an ammonia smell, so a few drops of essential oil help counteract that harshness.

These dish pans look nice and useful. A quick measurement of my 2012 sink shows about 13.25" x 11", though, so I'm wondering of either of the two (Amazon link items) would fit in my sink. You folks who have them, what do you think? I realize that the product descriptions are measuring at the upper lip and they do not tell the size of the lower portion.

Up to this point in time, if I use a bowl or a kettle in my cooking and eating, that bowl or kettle usually becomes my receptacle for dish water. It's not a perfect system but that's how I've been getting by. (I favor Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds for washing dishes and anything else, btw.)

Yup, the Dawn foaming sprayer is nice. We just keep refilling it and cleaning it, until it is toast and start over again with a new Dawn Sprayer.

I found a small collapsible "Beright" dish tub on Amazon in yellow for $3.99 (price varies by color). Only 12" x 8.25" and 4" high. Going to give it a try. For that price it's hard to go wrong. It should help when I'm trying to wash the big frying pan or the 12" grill grate.
