Download the Tapatalk App

I stopped using the Tapatalk app six months ago. I deleted the app. Now when opening the forum on my iPhone with IOS 10.3 a pop up to use Tapatalk appears. One must accept or decline . . . Every time

Reading the reviews on the Apple AppsStore regarding Tapatalk (what an eye opening experience) and this issue along with advertising and failed purchases to upgrade and get rid of ads seem prevalent.

Interesting that I do not have the issue on my iPad, same version of IOS.

Do others get the annoying invites to download the app?

Personally, I love using Tapatalk, and the simplicity of the layout on my phone.

If I try to open from an email, it always suggests I use Tapatalk, which I agree too.

Personally, don't use apps for websites. Prefer just a nice mobile optimized website that works on all devices.
I got the notice once and it quit reoccurring.

I think that happens if you use the mobile site. If you press and hold the "refresh" button (circular arrow) and ask for the full site, eventually you will "train" the iPhone to go to the full site. It never suggests download of Tapatalk. I hate the app myself, but use it occasionally to view threads in which I have participated.

Carl,
Thanks for the suggestion. I will see if I can train this angry beast. I never had any love for the Tapatalk app, wondering if there is a different experience between droid and Apple users?

Paul, I use Tapatalk on my iPhone and like it a lot. The cost of upgrading for no adverts was reasonable and I paid it. No regrets.
