Drain fresh water

Suggest not using a metal or strong plastic drain fitting. It would be good if it was weaker than the tank attach point so if it hits road debris then it fails and not the tank.

This would never be an issue for us as road debris is mostly thrown by tires, this is well inside it and it is not as low as many other things under there. About 2" max it hangs down.

This valve works smoothly and dumps the water a bit quicker though that is a minor issue as it gets done only in the fall and when rinsing after sanitizing.

If you are ever passing through Idaho Falls, send us a note. We'd be happy visit with you. The Walmart is only about 3 miles from our house. Also, check out Cal Ranch right next door to the Walmart. If Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply and a feed store had a baby, it would be Cal Ranch.
Will do. It might be a year or two. We drove it a couple decades ago a couple times, 2012, 2019 and 2020. I-15 is the most direct route from Alberta to Arizona and surrounding states.
