Curious if others have drain holes through the bottom of their trailers floor? My new 5.0 has one each side behind the fenders and one in the rear middle at the bumper hitch. They go into the cabinets of the dinette and I presume the middle one is thru and under the raised dinnette floor. They were sealed at one time but appear to have been opened up at the factory. There are other holes under the trailer as well but the other ones I have found so far are sealed.

I asked about these on my 21C. In my case, I was asking about the sealed holes. Escape indicated that it's okay to open them up in the event you desire additional drainage.

I've covered mine with a circle of window screen, as I conjure that ants were entering the cabin recesses through the pontoon drain holes. Water can still egress, ants can't. I had a "field" ant infestation issue, and best I can tell, they were only looking for a sheltered nesting spot.
No 'mo ants for a year or more. They really set up house in my front storage box when stored near a wooded park area. Nothing to eat in the box, just a nice shelter, and there were scads. When I cleared that area of them, some seem to have migrated to the inside cabin behind the paneling.

Glade they're there to as I use them as a source of getting 12v to the outside of the trailer without having to drill holes. Don't over do it. One small gauge wire is fine two at most and still have room for drainage.

To date, I haven't drilled a hole in the FG yet with all the mods I do.

This is just me....... it works...

Cheers to ya..... and Happy Trails........Jack

Thanks for the replies…I think I might glue short hoses in them so water doesn’t migrate up there when on the road.
