Hi: Reace...I just refilled the water tanks, started spring cleaning, and was checking out the systems. The water heater will heat on propane but not on electric(external switch turned on). Are there any other fuses other than the circuit breaker to check??? I do not have a meter but am cleaning all conections and checking out what I can!!!

Hi: Reace...In partial answer to my own question by the light of day I did find a 15A. auto type fuse marked DSI. I swaped it out for the pump one as it worked, and the pump still worked. The water heater seems luke warm on electric!!!

Anode rod might be on the way out, a cheap 15 dollar idea to try thinking off the top of my head. Good luck.

Hi: gocamp...I took it out and cleaned it off and it didn't look too corroded or eaten away. I thought I could reuse it, but I will probably pick up a new one and try it later today!!! Thanks for the reply.

Hi Alf

There is only a 15 amp breaker in line. I am not all that familiar with the 110V side of the hot water tanks... I would suggest calling an RV tech to troubleshoot.

Hi: Reace... I just got back from Elgin RV. and the problem was nothing a new element wouldn't fix. His meter showed an open circuit at the element ???. I had them repack the wheel bearings check and adjust the brakes and replace the element. $75.00 inc. parts& tx's. Not bad I don't think.
Thanks for your reply!!! Alf
