I've read several discussions regarding a proper fitted cover for various Escape models and in doing so have gleaned some very useful information on the subject. There are (as always) a number of opinions regarding the best choices but I haven't seen too many photos of Escape trailers with covers actually fitted to them. I thought it might be of interest to some of you so I've attached a couple of photos of our 2024 E17 with the recently purchased "Classic Accessories-Over Drive-PermaPRO" cover for molded fiberglass trailers. This is the "Model II" cover that measures 156" and is advertised to fit trailers measuring 10'1"-13". Installation was quite easy and the resulting fit is apparent in the pictures. For clarification, our E17 has both the AC unit, 1- Max Fan and the optional solar panel mounted on the roof. Clearly, the cover can accommodate these extras and still fit comfortably. I did fabricate 4 protective pieces from foam pipe insulation for the sharp corners of the solar panel. It also became apparent after the cover was installed that one corner of my license plate was poking into the cover fabric so another piece of pipe insulation cut to length solved that issue. If you're considering a cover for your E17 I hope you find this useful.
