E23 mods...

Replaced the "spit sink" and faucet in our E23 and added a counter...
Could not find a suitable larger replacement sink, so purchased a resin planter to use for the sink. Counter, backsplash and all support pieces are PVC. The new build is pretty much the same footprint that we had w/ the old sink and small cabinet that we'd been using. Also moved the TP holder 1.5" to the right so it didn't stick out into the room so much.
Faucet, sink, flexible drain, and PVC supply cabinet all purchased on Amazon. PVC building materials purchased at Lowes.

May I ask where the counter and backsplash came from? I just love what you have done with the bathroom!!!

Thank you, Lennie!
I cut the counter and backsplash out of PVC trim board that I purchased at Lowe's. Here's the link to it at Lowe's... https://www.lowes.com/pd/0-25-in-x-24-in-x-4-ft-PVC-Trim-Board/5015201951
Also, I just put together a series of photos showing my progression which might help you. Would love to see someone else take on this project. We're so happy we did it! It's made a huge difference!

Great to see folks doing some E23 mods. I was afraid that there were so many options that no one would feel the need to do anymore customization. :)

Could I make a small request? Post a couple of the key photos so that lazy people like me can easily preview the mod.

Hi Ron - We didn't have our E23 for more than a week before we started doing mods. Of course, we'd already had an E19 and so our first mods were repeats of things we'd done to that camper.
If you go back to my original post on this thread in Feb. '25, you'll find a link that will take you to 25 photos showing the mods we've done to our 23.

Thank you so much!!! I just love what you did with the bath! While functional, it is not at all charming, as it comes, lol! Ihave already ordered the sink planter, the faucet and the cabinet, and we are just now completing our design/order!! The bath will be the first mod, no doubt! Thank you again!

I posted this in the Facebook Escape Trailers group, but re-posting here for non-Facebookers. Sharing some of the changes we've made to our new E23. Recently road tested for three weeks and all performed well.

> Added peel & stick tile to kitchen wall (Amazon).
> Built a vertical dish storage unit that sits behind the stove.
> Added murals in galley area and bathroom (Amazon).
> Flipped the bathroom door and installed a slim, waterproof PVC floor cabinet with small countertop (Amazon).
> Built a new, deeper medicine cabinet for our toiletry bags.
> Added peel & stick tile border, towel rings, etc. in bathroom (Amazon).
> Added vanity mirror and flip down shelf in bedroom area (Amazon).
> Installed EZ Reach table mount (ez-reach.com) and a tri-fold table top (Etsy) in lounge area.
> Rotated all the shade assemblies so shades close from bottom up (Escape video).
> Sewed reversible slip-covers from quilted bedspreads for lounge area seats (Amazon).
> Built shelves and deep drawer into pantry.
> Added a number of hooks and bamboo storage solutions (Amazon). We chose the maple interior not only because we like the warm, wood look, but also because we knew from our previous E19 that bamboo storage options would blend well with the maple.

Wow. I love what you did. The E23 already looks great, that’s why we ordered one. Your modifications brings it up another level. How did you secure the dish rack behind the stove? Your stick on stuff really makes your camper look great. I’m sorry but I don’t have your imagination so I’m just going to have to try to copy some of what you’ve done.

Hi Penny! Wow, my wife and I are so impressed with your creativity and design mods. We’re waiting for the delivery of our E23F2 coming in 2 weeks. Thanks for sharing your pictures of your work. We had a question about the 2 pole shelves in the kitchen. One has a box on top of it near the door. Looks perfect for keys and other items when you walk in. Where did you purchase the movable pole attached small shelves? Could you share the link. Thanks again.

This is what I purchased. I see it's no longer available, but if you just search Amazon for "microphone stand" you'll find others available. There's quite a variety of items that attach to microphone stands and strollers that can be useful for the metal poles in the Escape

Thank you! Please copy! We love to see what others do. Dish rack is screwed to existing cabinets and countertop.
