E9500 awning question

I wonder if the fiberglass body has a bow in the middle resulting in the gap at the ends.

Does not appear so. The outer rail of the awning has a definite bow.

perhaps the folding frame puts outer tension on the ends and since the arms do not attach to the middle there is a slight bow.
In the pic you posted, is the edge of the awning frayed or scuffed?

It's just a blurred thread.

While playing with the awning today and reading the instructions I also decided to test the wind sensor. By shaking the awning rail a few inches for about 8 seconds it automatically retracts. Very cool.:thumb:

Fred,
Can you get a measurement of the gap? Finger sized? Is the gap bigger because you zoomed in?
What does it look like at ground level without zoom? It appears there is a gap in all of ours? But is one gap bigger than the others?

Hi Jim,

The gap in front is about a pinkie finger wide ( about 5/8") the gap in the rear is not as much.

I will get some step by step photos for adjusting the awning and post them here on Monday.

Took awhile to figure it out, but it is an easy adjustment.
