For those with the Zap Pack that includes the Victron Cerbo GX here’s my new setup for remote battery/electrical system monitoring (if you don’t have Cerbo GX a similar solution can be achieved with a Victron Globallink 520):
I don’t have space to store my E19 at my house so I store it at a storage place nearby and want to be able to remotely monitor my electrical and batteries in particular. After a bit of research I found the Victron GX LTE 4-G which plugs into the Cerbo GX and allows me to monitor my electrical as pictured. This will be especially helpful in winter when I want to make sure that the batteries aren’t getting drained too low. The system requires purchasing an IoT card that essentially connects the system over cellular networks. You pay by usage and from what I’ve read it comes out to be a few dollars per month. With an optional gps antenna you can also monitor the location and set a geofence that will notify you when the system (and presumably trailer) have left the area. Lots of other alarms can be set like battery level etc. You can also connect temperature and humidity sensors for remote monitoring. Pretty amazing technology.
