Enough already….

With all the snow accumulations I guess flooding will be next for the Eastern US. While the West and South runs dry of water, and will likely burn to the ground accompanied by hot, dry winds. An o'yal, don't forget the Midwest tornado season coming soon followed by hurricane season for the US coasts. We may have to start "Enough Already 2". This climate change is starting to limit places to travel and enjoy.

We were just talking about that ... wondering where we might travel that would be "safe" in 2014.

CADreamin: British Columbia, including Vancouver Island, has not been experiencing the drastic weather events that other regions have, and your US dollars will be worth about CAD$1.10 each.

We'll be there the end of March and are thinking of extending our stay. Love, love, love British Columbia!! (And glad to hear you've been spared all the weather we in the states have had.)

Nooooooo.

The US had better beat Canada in Men's Hockey. Canada needs their citizen back. ;D

Getting stuck with the Biebs is quite a price to pay, Donna D. Wanna have a side bet on Rob Ford's citizenship on the men's game tomorrow?

Wow, 172 posts in a 2 month period about the horrible weather. Who says climate change isn't important?

On A lighter note, just checked weather forecast for Banff for saturday and should be +7 C and sunny, Should be perfect day for spring skiining @ Sunshine Mountain Village:)

For the near future, it would be good to stay out of the backcountry areas while skiing in the mountain parks. Avalanche risk is extremely high right now. My son who works as a ski patroller at Sunshine Village ski resort had to give medical attention to two skiers caught in an avalanche on one of their backcountry runs this week.

Well you folks that are complaining that your yards are filled with snow don't know how much of a nuisance it is out here on the Wet Coast. Grass cutting time today and yesterday kayaking, had to look all over for my sunglasses and riding my m/c today without a jacket, it was almost too cool. Really, I feel for you guys, really.....I do:D

I skied that run a couple years ago. Nice to have done it, but at my age, I am not going back again.
