Living on Vancouver Island, you'll be well aware of wet days, and the wet clothes that come with it. Last November, on a Tofino/Island trip we bought an expandable shower curtain rod, which we put up in the bathroom to dry rain jackets/pants, towels, and so forth. We don't leave it in place when driving, however, as there might be a chance to damage the walls when the trailer moves, and the walls flex. It stores nicely in the closet when traveling.
For those 'things' which you need, but not all the time, we've got a few cloth Safeway fold-able boxes which go right under the bed storage.
Lastly, where to put the garbage?
ksitte has an amazing set up for garbage under the sink. Unfortunately, we need the space for cooking pots. We found anything which encroached into our food prep space made things just too tight. We use full size garbage bags, tie a small knot on one of the corners, and suspend it by squeezing the knot between the counter and the flip up counter (which we leave up all the time when not on the road). It's almost out of the way.
