Escape 19 inside set-up

There are several "stick-um" type available, college students use it to attach to walls without marking. It does a good job at keeping things in place, yet allowing removing if desired.

But, I'm just wondering what others have done? I.e. Where do you put your food, dishes, pots and pans, clothing, etc. I'd love to hear what you've done! What works well?

Several things that we've done that have made life a little easier:

1. Garbage can on under sink door. Very convenient to use, don't even have to open door very much for some things. Out of the way when not being used.

2. Tea towel bar across counter front, easy to wipe fingers on it.

3. Over the door rack/shelf for cell phones, cameras, sun glasses etc. Keeps stuff off the table and you always know where it is.

4. Opened up more storage spaces under the furnace and under the kitchen sink area. Bought two doors from Escape. Under the furnace holds a lot of tools and the location is good for that because it's almost over the axle. Space behind existing cabinet goes over the wheel wells. Over 4' long and a good place to store, umm, long objects.

5. Towel bars on interior of bathroom door. There is enough solid wood there, just have to be careful.

6. Shoe holder on door works well for us. We have the optional door, nominally for shoe storage, under the dinette but this location is more convenient for some of the shoes.

They're small metal hooks with an adhesive back. 4 on top and 2 on bottom corners. Usually has several pairs of shoes in it and it's stayed in place for a lot of miles.

One thing we do that I haven't seen anybody else mention...

I added a brass hook on the side of the passenger side dinette overhead, and another on the side of the bathroom wall over the driver side dinette bench. These get used for lots of things (hanging keys, hats, etc), but the most interesting use is to hold a clothes line -- I have a line with a loop tied in each end that is just the right length to get from one hook to another. When we've got wet stuff to hang and it's raining outside, we just put the line across and use it. Hanging stuff is obviously in the way, but it serves when necessary.

Similarly, a pair of suction cup hooks in the bathroom (one on the front wall, one on the rear wall) and another line that gets hung when we have towels or what not that need drying.

Yes, way too much. I had an epiphany while doing a build sheet for the new 5.0 TA, why am I going bigger and heavier, it is just the 2 of us and 2 dogs, our 19 was adequate before the 21, why am I upsizing? When I sold BlackJack and emptied out all my stuff I realized 50% was not needed as it was never used. All the camping stuff took up 2x5' x5 shelf units in the garage and basement. So the newer and slimmer Prairie Schooner will be hatched......
ps, I'm also on a diet, retirement has added weight to myself also....
