Can anyone tell me how far it is between the tongue/hitch of the Escape 21 and a point midway between the two axles? And also how far from that point to the rear of the trailer?

I'm not sure that's a clear question. What I'm wanting to know is:

-- the distance (in feet or meters) between the trailer wheels and the hitch point
-- the distance between the trailer wheels and the rear of the trailer.

Since there are two axles, I figure the right place to measure from is the midpoint (fore and aft) between the two axles.

I'm trying to make a crude scale model of the trailer, which we'll use to help assess our requirements for driveway extension. Yeah, I know, sounds wacky. But here in the Northwest this is our time for concrete work; when we pick up our new 21 in November it will likely be too wet around here to get it done. So I have to figure this all out now.

I know it may be a hassle to take this measurement. I really have tried to find it. I even looked at pictures of a 21 and tried to do measurements and calculations -- but I don't trust my results. I'd be very grateful if someone can help. It doesn't have to be super-precise... thanks!

I got 173 from the tongue back to midway between wheels and 82 from same point to rear bumper, total 255 inches or 21' 3'.

Thanks Jim! I owe you a beverage (or two) of your choice, to be delivered at some rally somewhere.

Now for some fun model-building. Thanks again!
