Escape 21NE - interior photos

I think that there are two one step units. The one that came with mine was really unequal. They let me trade it for one that has more equal distances up and down.

Going to have a look at the trailer for myself tomorrow...Monday...if someone requires a specific photo.
I am trying to imagine the exact floorplan. I am thinking I will need to wait for the 23'?? Is this a "crawl over" bed in this model? So better photos of bed area would be nice. Crawl over bed is a show stopper for us.
All the discussion about steps, can't you just replace the steps if you don't like how far off the ground they are? sorry I am still a wanna be escape owner

I have never yet measured my step heights, but we have no issues at all with the single step. To me adding one would be more inconvenient. But, to each their own, and options are a good thing.

By code (at least in Alberta), a residence cannot have a a stair rise over 20 cm (7 7/8"), A bit more with just two steps is for most quite easy to handle.

Yes it is a crawl over style bed and you may want to wait for the 23 ft offering.
The floor plan is similar to this but with more room in the dinette.

Due to the round Fiberglass area under the door you just can’t bolt on any 2 step you find on the internet as you can on most stick trailers.

Here are a few pictures I took today and thanks to Linda for showing it to my wife and I this morning.

Nice and spacious in the dinette area and really makes the u shape work well.

Things I noticed was the new style fan, still using tan screw caps (grey would be nice in this case) and the miss matched wood. Walls, door frames and wood door inserts all a different shade. I like the light wood and the frosted insert in the upper door, but it might not be suitable for someone with OCD if they order their dream trailer sight unseen.

The new frosted bathroom window is a big disappointment but I will post that in the other active thread on the subject.

It spans the door opening, no more than what is present currently in the E19 and E21...

I think the window over the sink should be centered between stove and sink for symmetry...as fas as the splash guards, they exist with the oak but not the maple, I sort of like the maple. Maybe an introductory price to kick start the E21 NE production..similar to when the first E21's were made.

Jim, I get the feeling you are thinking about purchasing yet another trailer. Is this anywhere near correct? Do you like the bed placement?

I think I'm going to stick with the rear dinette set up, just saying the maple is a great alternative...

We got the maple on our 5.0. It looks nice.

Still waiting of course.

Are you gonna do anything special for your 21,000 post. Like get a new keyboard or do some finger stretching?

I don't have all the measurements for the 21NE, but I do have a couple: the permanent bed in the back is a long queen: 60" wide, 84" long. The front dinette is just a a bit narrower: 59 1/2" x 84" long. The walkway down the middle is 4" wider than the 19' (but the same size as the 21' classic). The bathroom is the same size as the 19.

Ed even though we changed to the Sam1 fan mod , really like the looks of the new vent fan . Did you turn it on and do you think it works well ? Pat

I did not think of turning the fan on to hear it.
The trailer was parked outside so we needed an escort to show us. I did not want to take up to much of her time...that being said we have sold a few trailers for them and it is good to have seen the new 21 in person so that it can be properly explained to a future customer.

We also sold a few trailers for original owners too. Was just wondering if the new vent is a improvement over the old one . Old one except for channeling moisture and not on your cabinets and such wasn’t good for much else . It sure looks nice but wonder if it works and doesn’t sound like a plane taking off when you use it . If you ever find that out hope you post . Pat

Rear dinette?

I think I'm going to stick with the rear dinette set up, just saying the maple is a great alternative...

Wife wanted the std E-21's/maple setup w the dinette in the rear and front bed, which we plan to sometimes "curtain off" w a collapsible curtain rod and light-proof but light weight curtain ....for day time napping or 'sleeping in'. She said no way she'd like the front dinette setup bks she didn't wanna see the "Tow Vehicle and traffic" from her table, and if Holly ain't happy, ain't nobody happy ;-)
WE're stepping up from a 17' Casita w twin beds in rear and no separate dinette, so the std 21 is uuge to us and give us the option to bring along grandkids when we need it. To each his/her own!!:)

Yes, sometimes the view from the rear dinette is nice to look at.
