Its funny how threads take a right turn...so I start a fresh one again.

It is Sunday afternoon and the fiberglass crew has just finished building the top half. Before they left, I had them help me put the two halves together. Unfortunately they will have to pull them apart again in the morning to prep them for bonding, but I couldn't wait to get inside! Wow! This thing is huge! Sorry, no photos yet.

My evening will be spent making all the wall templates so the wood shop can begin making the walls Monday.

Monday, the body will be seamed together, door jamb installed and de-molded and bolted to the chassis. Then I will take photos!

This is exciting times at ETI!!

Reace - I hope you know how contagious your excitement is!

Congratulations and thank you for your tireless work on this project!

Oh wow, oh wow! Great news. But, go when Glenn's suggestion. You MORE than deserve it.

Hi: reace... Thanks!!! I love a good "Cliffhanger". Alf
escape artist N.S. of Lake Erie;)

Congratulations to you both! Though I am not and probably will never be a candidate for a 5'er, I always enjoy viewing the your new (and successful) innovations.;)

Ok, here she comes!

This is a raised version for a customer with a 1 ton truck with a higher than normal box. The rest will come out about 3" lower.

Tonight we are fiberglassing in all the interior blocking, then all the windows will be cut out. Tomorrow it will skip past a couple units and right into headliner.

More pictures tomorrow!

Reace

Excited, excited, excited. Bring out the champagne! I don't think I'll sleep at ALL tonight. COOL BEANS!

I keep looking and dreaming... OMG! I'm hyperventilating ;D

I have to call everyone I know and tell them, it's REAL!

Double WOW!
Wish it was going to make it to Texas for Bluebonnet.
Guess I'll have to see it at the Oregon Rally!!!

Reace, you are a proud daddy once again. :)

It is looking great! Can't wait to see it outfitted.

Gotta love those cooling fins in the first photo. I bet they dissipate heat from the resin real good. ;D

While getting some quotes for resurfacing the area our Unser Ei will be residing, DH said "Make the pad 24'x24' as we have to allow for 'two foot itis'." I fear owning an Escape is going to be dangerous ...
