Escape no longer offers additional storage for your trailer after the free-of-charge month following the agreed completion date.:-[

Received this in an email from Escape.

Thought folks would like to know.

Cheers.......and Happy Trails to ya......:eggrv:

I would imagine this may cause some ripple effect in that the number of people buying a trailer that's going to be completed in the dead of winter may drop significantly.

So, your saying the optional front storage box is no longer available?

Trailer Storage

I was talking about the free storage after your trailer has been completed. Escape provides free storage in their lot for your trailer that's waiting for you to pick up. In the past you could get additional trailer lot storage for a cost if it ran over the free month. This is no longer the case.

Has nothing to do with storage boxes.

You can get the optional front storage box. No problem there.

Was talking about storage of the whole trailer after completion.

Shortly after we got ours in August of 2022 ETI said free storage for only a month and the lot they had been using for additional storage had been sold so "no more additional storage". So, this doesn't seem like new information to me. Just saying.

Cheers

How did you come up with storage box out of what I wrote.

Didn't say anything about storage box / front storage box.

It dealt with the additional trailer parking after the free month parking was up.

Does it matter? I think everyone knows what you meant now.

It wasn't clear to me what you were taking about no offense. And I wasn't the only one. Additionally, most of the people who post here already have a trailer so "trailer storage at ETI" isn't an issue. The trailer storage issue your talking about has been the case for about a year, not new.
So, I jumped to a conclusion and asked for a clarification. Is that a problem to ask for clarification?

My, we're touchy today. Makes me miss the old days when we could just argue about the merits of poutine vs. scrapple...

But those arguments didn't go on nearly as long as the frameless vrs. framed windows and power or manual awning. Why some folks couldn't see right from the get go that framed and manual were the way to go is beyond me. :)

I 100% agree with you and it's really nice being right

Are we talking lack of storage for storage boxes?... just kidding

For those picking up a trailer in the winter, this may be problematic. No doubt they may be trying to push their delivery service.

I clicked on the thread title expecting to read something clever about someone creating some additional interior storage space (possibly for poutine) and was immediately disappointed that the topic didn’t apply to my situation.

I adjusted the title. Hopefully that will help others with understanding the thread too.

Today I saw a stick built trailer with a hitch hauler rack on the rear receiver. Mounted on the hitch hauler was a properly sized Knaak Jobox. Those babies are heavy duty. With a couple puck locks it’s about impossible to break into them.

If a person though the way to go would be to pull the pin or cut the lock on the hitch hauler and steal the whole rig he would either need a wrecker to load it or he’d be there in the morning, pinned under the wreckage.

Storage is really a problem no matter how it’s used in a sentence. Hoarders know this and have a fetish for boxes, Containers, and buildings of all types. Hope this all gets worked out without a lot of angst.
