Escape "Cot" option

For those who have the Cot option in the 19' and the gaucho bed option in the 17', how does one handle access to the upper bed? Is there a ladder or some means for the child to get down without an adult's help? Any suggestions? tThanks

Our kids were 4 and 6 when we bought our 17b Goucho and even though they were smaller than average, getting up and down wasn't difficult for them. We didn't let the 4 year old sleep on top.

On the 19' the seat (with the table down for a bed) goes out further than the cot, so there is something to step up onto in order to get to the cot. Getting down just requires gravity ;D
