Wow, in many ways it does not seem that long that Jeff Zajas brought this baby on line.

Here is a screen shot of the first day members, most of which surprisingly are still regular contributors, and of which I have been very fortunate to meet in person, with the exception of Sandra (so far, that is).

I gotta say, it has been a great community to be a part of.
Cheers!

Day two saw a few more new members, a couple who are still active, and one (older) fellow I got to the pleasure to meet last year. :)

Thanks Jim. I can't believe it's been that long. Time flies when you're having fun.;D
However, it seems that it flies anyway.;)
I echo your comments and would welcome the day to meet you and yours.:thumb:

The member list cannot be sorted by length of time for me. I was lurking a long time. I was finally here and then re-registered under another name when we bought the 19'. Think it took us a couple of years to get the first trailer. I remember trying to register and getting that message that people apparently still get about their e-mail address being spam, or some such. So some of us have been here much longer than it looks!

By the way (notice I did not say, "BTW"!) Jeff's comments were important for us getting an Escape as well as his interviews, as with Gerda. Finally met her!

It says you signed on, on 04-13-2012. I have not heard of the e-mail scam messages, though don't know if I have ever logged off, or what my password even is. :) If you had a previous username, you could look up the date of that one too. As well, I think a Site Team member (not moderators though), can merge the usernames.

Yeah, Jeff had some insightful ideas, that is for sure. By the time I met him, at the first Escape rally in Merritt, he had already moved on to an Airstream, which he sold to get a motorhome. Last time I chatted with him was via email near two years ago now.

Yes, I signed on on 4/13/2012 after I had already been around a couple of years. That was when we finally bought our 19'.

I think I remember Jeff comparing the various fiberglass trailers and Escape won out.

That is true. It is also true that if you cannot register, you cannot post. And if under another name earlier, that would not be known.

Probably many people are lurkers for some time before registering, if they ever register, and may just want information. Then they get an Escape. Most owners are not posting but may have obtained information and did not care to make any posts. Everyone does not want to get on here, believe it or not! It benefits them greatly just to read and the information here helps them decide to get an Escape. Some like to talk.

I think that the forum is a great resource for future Escape purchasers. They are able to get personalized information about the trailers and options they are interested in. Even after owning our 19' for over 1-1/2 years, I still continually learn things from others on the forum.
