Not bad, a drop of only 1 mpg, from 16 to 15. This may lower still as you fill up the new one with more "stuff" and I assume your old one was empty of most of your "stuff". I know the mountains can hit your for a loop, both mpg and your body!!

Hi: All...The registration is finished, the Title (Ownership) of "Escape Hatch II" is officially ours. The Ontario provincial taxes were the largest segment of the taxes 8%+ a $10. fee to transfer the plates to the new 5.0TA...but it's over. WHEW!!! Alf

Hi: All... Well folks the numbers are crunched and using the filling point of the Sweetgrass Casino at Harris Mich. as we stopped on the way west, and back east again for gas.
Frontier and 5.0 = 15.76 mi./US Gal.
Frontier and 5.0TA = 14.62 mi./ US Gal.
What happened in the mountains stays in the mountains.
Now I need some aspirins for my head ache!!! Alf

Alf, the mpg comparison is between your home and Harris?

Hi: padlin... Yes: We pulled the 5.0 out to Manitoba to it's new home, and then we pulled the 5.0TA back the same route home. So by filling up at the same spot in each direction I thought it was a fair comparison pulling the two trailers. I can't believe how much per gal. the gas went up while we were away. The bridge tolls went up too!!! (Extra axle)
May 26th. $3.60.9/gal. June 19th. $3.78.9
Total miles driven out& back 6552.
Total gas expense $1706.20 Alf
Total fun PRICELESS!!!
