An email was sent out yesterday by Escape with a pre notification to The Escape club members. The 2025 rally is on for 5/22/2025 - 05/25/2025 at NK'MIP RV PARK in Osoyoos BC. You can make your reservations now just tell the park you are part of the Escape rally.

Linda and I will be attending as well. This will be our first RV rally period. Be interesting to see what goes on at these things!

Nice to be thinking of the usual warm weather at the Escape rally while in the middle of a torrential rainstorm.

A couple of comments for newbies.

1. Look at the map before contacting them. Don't be afraid to state your preference. If you don't you'll be assigned a site but after you arrive you might see other much nicer sites.

2. Avoid sites 181-212. This is an area with a high percentage of permanent type setups. Feels like a mobile home area. You don't really want a large mobile home on either side of you. Escapes make much nicer neighbors. :)

3. The park is larger than it looks. Sites at the extremities are further from the clubhouse than they look. For some that is a consideration.

I am booked. My first Escape rally with my new 17B that I picked up in July

Snap! Just booked, will our first Escape rally with our new 17B. Can't wait to meet many of the wonderful Escape Community whose posts and support have been so helpful during the decision-making and buying process. And, can't wait to see the ETI team again. Great peeps.

How’s these basically work?

Hi Russ & Syma here!
As we are newb to the escape event we’d like to get a basic understanding about what to expect. Picking our site is there a better area to camp in, because of group gatherings. Any and all assistance would greatly be appreciated. Aside from the post from Ron BC which helps. Also my wife is interested in the dog beach, any suggestions.
Thanks

Also my wife is interested in the dog beach,

The main ETI rally activities are centered on the club houses. The main one is used for all activities with the smaller one used for overflow dinner use.

Some folks, like us, are in the clubhouse several times a day and like to have a site close by. Others have a waterfront site as their main priority. Some of the waterfront sites are an easy walk from the clubhouse and others are a very long walk.

I wouldn't worry about the dog and how it relates to the dog beach. Going to the beach, on a lease, can be part of your dog walk.

Strangely enough I can picture you there sitting by your new pride and joy. :) You were on the North side of the main area in a nicely shaded spot, I think.

One nice thing about the campground is that some of the main area that didn't have much vegetation in 2015 has much more now. More shade and privacy.

I just asked to be near the dog beach when I called. That’s when they suggested our site. Just have the map open when you’re talking to them.

Hi G&L
What part of ID. Did yall settle into. I was looking at the dog beach area, however looking like a long walk to the clubhouse. So probably going to be looking closer in. I’ll just walk to the dog beach area, not even sure our little boxer “Nella” will like the beach. Will let you know what site we choose.
