My 15 inch TV comes with an AC cord, which has an inline box that converts to 12V and it comes with a straight 12V cord. I'd check Amazon for a 12V cord for your particular brand and model.
Inverters change the voltage from 12V DC to 110V AC. If the TV is "DC compatible", that is usually meant to say it has a 12V power supply/plug built in and can be directly connected to a 12V outlet -- no inverter in that case. The inverter only comes into play when the TV is NOT DC ready. If it turns out the TV is not AC/DC, I'd probably return it for one that is. Personal preference. So today I bought a clicker torque wrench, a mattress pad (which necessitated a major wrestling match in the trailer) and a 22 inch samsung LED tv that I thought was DC compatible - but now I think I need an inverter to plug it into.... Is this correct? I plug an inverter into the 12v outlet, then the tv plug which has a built in inverter that takes the inverted 12v to 110 back to 12 or 14v??? I can't go straight from 12v outlet to the tv?
Okay, back to favorite things on your Escape.... I am all for beer and can get Natty Boh anytime but I am trying to outfit Bailey with all the best tricks.. Where does one get those nifty cleats? We were thinking that we could put one under the dinette cushion and a hook under the table to stabilize it when under tow. I am not inclined to take the table down each time we tow, when we really want it up for use all the time.
Okay. The DC cords from Radio Shack do not work as they don't have the correct plug size. :-(. Amazon does not seen to have what i need either. I am reader to get this done, right of course, but it may not get done today. Maybe I wait until the eastern rally and have the experts help me!! Next question is can I attach the tv bracket anywhere on the fried wall? It is the only reinforced wall I have installed.
