Floor/Formica Pair

We put in our deposit on a 21C with contemporary cabinets and are beginning to finalize our build sheet. I think that some of the flooring and formica options may be newer and so not as common (yet). We really like the Havana Tobacco flooring and the Planked Coffee Oak formica. We're curious about if the browns in each will go together. And since we'll be looking at it every day we want to get this right! Haha

Any chance anyone has a photo of this combo?

PS I have ordered samples but sometimes seeing it in an actual build changes things.

We don't have that combo, but we do have the contemporary cabinets. They really brighten up the interior. We were looking at some pics of our old camper which had a weird walnut cabinet color and it was so dark. I can't imagine going with anything darker now. Hope you like it as much as we do.

That's how we feel as well. Although, I can definitely see the appeal of the wood grains and a warm feel, we like the brighter option and hope to get "warmth" with lighting.

They really brighten up the interior. We were looking at some pics of our old camper which had a weird walnut cabinet color and it was so dark.

We went with traditional twice and if I was going for a 23 I'd make it 3. I like what I like.

One factor that may affect the feeling of darkness is whether or not a rooftop A/C is installed. We don't have one and find in the Winter when we put foam over the vent that it is darker.
