Tonight, while typing responses in a thread, I experienced several times (quite a few actually) when the cursor would disappear and I could not type until I took the mouse and clicked in the appropriate place on the screen. I have realized it is related to the advertisement in the side bar changing. When it flicks from one ad to another or the electronic casino ad changes images, is when the cursor disappears.

I am using a Dell desktop with Windows 12, and Google Chrome for a browser.

Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this?

Charles
Altho I use an Apple computer I do use the Google Chrome browser. I also use AdBlockPlus (it's free) and get no ads whatsoever with the new software.
I've never experienced the disappearing cursor you describe.

I use a acer PC to visit the escpae Forum
I find if my cursor is near the lower right hand corner of the screen by the "date and time" the screen will go to the home screen. Once I move the mouse the Forum screen re-apears. is it possible that is what is happening?

If your images are local files, add them as attachments to the post, using the "Attach Files" button. They'll come out like this...

I see an "Attach files" button in the Forum threads but I don't see one in the Conversations. Nice comet pic, btw.

Curious why, when composing a "conversation" (direct message), a double-return shows as a paragraph break in the editing window, but when I hit 'send' the delivered message appears formatted without the paragraph-breaks?

This is very different from the forum-post editing behavior where a double-return yields a new paragraph break.

I'm on a windows PC, Edge browser, if that makes any difference. Am I doing something wrong?
