fresh water tank and spigot

Hello.

Has anyone had trouble with the spigot to drain the fresh water tank? Ours has gotten really stiff to turn and I'm worried it will break.

Also has anyone come up with any solutions to fully draining the tank (other than parking on extreme angles) and to accessing the last of the water in the tank while boondocking?

For the first time ever (in four years) we saw another Escape while on the road yesterday. In Arlo Guthrie's words..."its a movement"!

Hi Calvino

I had a valve on a previous camper with the same problem, the solution
a drip of mineral oil at the top of the valve and work it back and forth
just a bit at first and after a while it will move freely.
