Rather than take it apart and clean it like I usually do when the fridge fails to operate on gas, I blasted the pin hole size gas hole with CRC electrical cleaner using the little red straw that comes with the can. Flammable.... but evaporates quickly and leaves no residue. Worked like a charm. Been on the road now for over a week and no more issues.
