front side light wiring

A friend was trying to help me install a Furron Vision side camera and the wires were short behind the blinker light. He gave a little tug on the hot wire and was able to pull another inch or so out from behind the wall. Then he tugged on the ground wire and the little wire popped right out. We used a scope to see if there was a longer wire and a splice somewhere down there behind the wall but wasn't able to see anything. The other side of the wall is the bathroom and I can't even imagine how to get back there at this point. I have a 2024 21C. Does anyone know what this wire would be connected to? I live 6 hours from Escape but they have a backlog of work right now so I am unsure when I would be able to make it in. Any solution oriented ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Double bummer.

On the front wall in the shower, at the "belly band" there's a cover plate held on with two screws. It's function actually isn't for access to anything, it's just a notch that let's them get the bathroom molding in. But if you remove the cover plate you might be able to access the unattached wire. I know that there's a bit of a gap between the trailer shell and the bathroom shell. Using an inspection mirror might help to see if the errant wire is reachable.

Good luck.

yes, it is a big bummer for a small mistake. Thank you for the sympathy.
I was thinking more of frustration with the improperly crimped electrical connections and not locating wire splices/connections in accessible areas. The main light wire could have been long enough to terminate where it was accessible instead of 8" short of its destination.

If you can’t somehow grab the wires for the light maybe you can fish down the light hole and snag the fishtape from the access hole in the bathroom molding. At least you’d have a start for a new run of wire.

The trailer should still be under warrantee. I suppose that doesn't cover this situation, but I think I would ask for a consult to help to at least understand the wiring circuitry layout so you can figure out what might be affected and options for repairing it. Maybe you can get a 15-minute consult. Tow the trailer into the yard and ask if you can have a tech look at it.

A wire should not pull out of a crimped connection. A concern I would have is that the connection this wire pulled out of is not a solid connection and could be a splice point where wires come together as the circuit daisy chains to other lights. A loose connection will have higher resistance and might overheat.

That's basically what I was thinking might be possible.

If the access hole shows there's a space then the dropped wire might be visible and possible to snag. If so, then a small nut on a string could be dropped down the from the exterior and snagged.
