I saw and loved this T-shirt "I may be old, but I got to see all the good bands"
Different people have different interests and concerns. I'm sure the furnace-change post count is still far behind the what-colour-of-formica post count (there might be 174 threads on that)... and I'm only significantly interested in one of those subjects. It is a lot of posts for something seemingly so inconsequential.,!!??
To someone considering a 21, this has been a very interesting thread. All 19 pages, mostly. Considering it changes the look, has the heater in a totally different placement, might draw more power, etc.
Different color Formica.... Not as important to me. At least not yet.
AND this thread references the "I may be old but I've seen the great bands" theme!
Mississippi River Festival 72-74. OMG! Who didn't we see!?!
AGREED... OMG, I AGREE.No offense taken here.I hope this isn't really your last post. We need a few more "rockers".
...I was a little worried starting out, though because My tow vehicle is a Dodge Ram 2500 diesel !,![]()
Why can't I find Atwood AFSAD12 model furnace in any of Atwood's literature. The RV furnace literature I see from Atwood still lists the old Everstar 8012 II, at 1.8amp by the way.We just received this news from Escape trailers. It is quite a shocker, because it means we give up 2 drawers. What do others who have ordered a 21 think. I expect Reace and Tammy have done their best to look for other suitable replacements of the same size.

To Whom it May Concern,
Effective February 11, 2015 the furnace (Atwood Model #8012) we have been using is no longer available.
This furnace has been replaced with a new higher efficiency furnace (Atwood Model #AFSAD12). This new furnace is slightly larger and in the 21’ Escape we have had no other option but to relocate it to the 3 – drawer cabinet located on the driver’s side at the foot of the bed. By relocating the furnace to this cabinet we have had to delete the two center drawers as shown in the attached photo.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please feel free to forward any questions you may have.
