Hello from Bellingham, WA!

I have been researching trailers for the last year and found Escape. I like everything about the 21C and I reached out to Laurel about seeing one in person. I retired 3 years ago and would like to full time it for about a year starting in the fall. I was excited to join this forum. Thank you administrators for managing this forum and providing a way for owners to connect!

I grew up spending vacations in the family motorhome. Since then, I have owned many RV's. Started with tent trailer, then travel trailer, and last was a motorhome. I love road trips and I have visited incredible places.

Wish me luck with my purchase. I am considering resale as well as new.

You should have no trouble finding one to look at. Heck, where you are located it would kinda make sense to drive to Chilliwack and look at one in the showroom. They don't pressure you like a car dealership and the never have to "ask the manager" about price!
You should have some opportunities in your area as well if you don't want to cross the border yet.
Post questions you have as you go along, members are glad to assist.

Hello from Bellingham, WA!

We have a E21C we picked up from Chilliwack in November sitting in our driveway. Send us a PM to set up an appointment. And I second the suggestion about driving to Chilliwack if you want to do comparison shopping. We made five or six trips there when deciding and almost wore out our welcome.

Welcome! You've come to the right place, as the folks on this forum were an invaluable resource as we were researching our Escape purchase. Yes, definitly try to see one (or several models) in person either through the Escape Ambassador program or, better yet, @ the showroom in Chilliwack where you can compare models/options side by side. Best of luck!

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I think I’ll visit the showroom since I’m so close. Never been to Vancouver so fun to plan a trip and look around some.

Welcome to the Escape family! We bought ours with a very similar goal in mind- retirement travel. My wife retires this year and I’ll probably work another year or so doing longer trips since I can work from anywhere. You are lucky to have so many options to buy used near you, we are in FL and it took about 8 months of serious shopping to find a trailer in our area!

Welcome to the forum.
We ordered our Escape in anticipation of my wife's retirement and left for pick up in Chilliwack a few days after her party.
We've never regretted our decision to buy an Escape.

Never been to Vancouver

Welcome to the forum. If you haven't already realized there's a huge amount in information here for you but in the short term the advice to actually see inside an Escape or two is the way to go.

Never been to Vancouver, you're not alone. There's a huge imbalance, many Canadians pop down to Bellingham for shopping etc. on a weekly basis but the reverse doesn't happen despite our low dollar. Give us a visit. We don't speak American, as my nephew in Ferndale says, but our English is understandable. :)
