Around here (lower mainland, BC) looks like social isolation/lockdown is going to run until July (or whenever). Yesterday, I suggested to Liz that moving the trailer away from the cedar bushes onto the driveway for some driveway camping would be something to consider.
Grill some steak, drink some wine and sleep in the trailer .... something to do.
Steve, Yesterday, we watched BC Gov officials telling us to expect months of restrictions lasting until the summer. Based on what we see about the US virus news, I’d be utterly surprised if the Canadian/US border was opened by May for anything but essential crossings.
What I’m seeing now is BC small town mayors asking people from larger metro areas to stay away “for now” citing lack of medical facilities/resources. I’d say your May fishing trip will need to be rescheduled.
Global news ....
“On Tuesday, B.C. health officials warned that some version of harsh restrictions that have been put in place to curb the spread of the virus would likely remain until “at least” the summer.“
Thank you for your insight , I guess I just wanted to go fishing and was denying the reality of the situation
Thanks Again
For those who need to follow the deadly progress of this pandemic virus here is a very good link.
I took particular notice of the column listing victims who have recovered. Compared to worldwide...not encouraging. Let us hope that stat will change for the better.

Finish this sentence If the virus had not happened .....
I might be able to keep up with that pace.
