This morning I posted a hypothetical question on insulated trailers vs non insulated trailers and their susceptibility to freezing rain, snow, ice and sleet.
25 posts later I got an answer.
I'm not sure if I worded my question wrong or if forum readers don't read questions in their entirety.
Presumably most members enjoy this forum. To help other members that have questions, and don't want their questions hijacked to another thread, might I suggest reading the post prior to answering to insure what is being answered is indeed what is being asked.

just saying.

I'm afraid that if your are looking for a no nonsense, strictly run at the threat of being suspended or asked to leave forum this might not be the one you want. We seem to stick pretty close most of the time to the general thread topic but things have away of deveating sometimes (from what I can see), but know one means any harm and we all more or less play nicely together. Thats why we are all here and as you found out your question was answered. Now Glenn you have to play nice too or Jim B. will come and cut a skylight in your trailer.:eek:;D

So now you all decide to stick to the topic! Thank you!!

::)

FYI PGDriver , I did ask the question 9 times in 25 posts.

You might be on to something here. :)

Now, where would you like your skylight mounted? ;D

Baglo is running for another beer just to get that thought outta his mind now, JIm.

And I guess we get what we pay for answers here.....;)

“Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.” -- Stephen Covey

Threads are the same way. Folks don't read to see if someone has answered.... they are only interested in replying. By the same token, the OP often doesn't read all the replies.

I can't tell you how many times I've provided an answer on the "big forum," that was spot on... and was totally ignored by the OP. Doesn't bother me, I tried... maybe someone else found value in the message.

Now these would be considered probable factual statements. ::)

JMac by the way 9 times is no where near the record on this forum, some questions never get answered, except when Jeff did his live interviews and even then.....

If your beer fridge is less than 3' from your mouse pad you must be a "Escape forum red neck" Just kidding... unless you live in NF,.....

I think it is reasonable to conclude when a question does not get answered it's because nobody knows the answer.

What if the answer is incorrect?
Perhaps members are trying to understand the question when they respond.
Or, perhaps they are just sharing comraderie.
Should a question only have one response, that being the correct answer?
Who determines that?
