I plan on doing a lot of boondocking and I have read that several of you have had your refrigerator door come off and or the stove/oven come loose while traveling on gravel roads. What sort of things have you done to prevent this from happening again? Is there anything I should ask for on my build sheet to help with this?

I've had the fridge door open on washboard, but never detach itself.
Main thing to do is NOT place heavy items on the door shelves.
I use bungees for insurance.

I've had the cabinet door hinges come loose. Just put a touch of Elmers wood glue or similar on the hinge screw threads and set them. Seems to resolve the issue.

We ordered gold colored footman loops described on another thread and used straps for a boat gas tank to secure our fridge. One set for the fridge door and one for the freezer door. We travel rough road on occasion and don't want to incur the fridge disasters we had with our stick trailer or the broken hinges some Escapers have reported.

Yes I did the same only with a Loctite thread locker .
Removed one screw at a time added a drop or Loctite and reinstalled . So far no repeat of the door falling off .
