Great dry camping at Virgin River Canyon

Beautiful area to camp before it gets too hot. Did you see any Desert Bighorn Sheep. When I lived in Las Vegas I believe that a herd was established in that area?

Haven’t seen any Bighorn Sheep yet, we are looking right down into the canyon from our location so we will keep an eye out.

Snow Canyon State Park is an interesting side trip, near St. George if you have time, cinder cones, lava tubes, riparian areas. Some nice hikes.

We are planning a loupe through Utah next spring, St George is a favorite stop so I’ll put Snow Canyon on the list.
