Nakusp, BC, Canada has one of the nicest RV/Cabin/Cottage spots we've been to. Very child friendly.
RV packages are available by phone. For $60.00 2 adults get full hook up with day passes to the pools. Great restaurant and pub and the beautiful scenery of Arrow Lake.
Nakusp town is also worth a walk through.
$60.00 might seem a bit steep but it was worth it.

Hello J Mac ,
Halcyon Hot springs has a beautiful location , just 32 kilometers north of Nakusp - 16 k from the Galena bay ferry ( we were there on the 15/16 last week - didn't see any other Escapes though ? ) . We've been going there once or twice a year since 2002 . Unfortunately the RV park now has already lost 5 sites ( 3 more this past winter ) to cabins , and that entire RV " plateau" will be swallowed up by a condo structure in time ( not too much longer judging by the speed with which the cabins and chalets are coming up . They used to get a lot more European motorhome tourists ( like with Canadream/Cruiseamerica ) and we think they've actually lost some regulars with all the chalets and cabins built over the past few years the cliental has started changing somewhat - our last visit was pretty quiet - but they do seem to get a lot more party people . We are sorry that it's an RV spot that won't always be there .

Things change I guess. I remember walking in to Halcyon on a trail and soaking in primitive pools built by the locals. But that was the eighties! Seems like yesterday!
