I’ve had our Escape 19 for a week and finally installed the Haloview rearview camera today. It was a little more complicated because i also wanted to plan ahead for my weboost install. That meant that i needed to figure out how i was going to mount it. I decided to clamp it to one of the feet on the rear solar panel. I like the new Weboost overland bracket where i can easily switch between having the antenna up for use or down for traveling.

For the rear view camera, ETI prewired it for me connected to the rear lights. So when the lights on the tow vehicle are on, the camera is on.

For the Weboost, i haven’t finished wiring that up completely yet. I’m planning / hopeful i can fish the wires down the drivers side beside the bathroom.

I am curious where ETI provided the prewiring for the rear light connection - seems to be a well guarded secret.

I've asked them (in the build process) to provide a 12V drop at my solar panel so I can install an electric actuator. They told me no... So presumably they won't give me a 12V drop for a booster either... =/

I will have compressor fridge so no vent. Any ideas how else I can get wiring up top?

Can I fish it through the solar wiring or would it be too tight with that wiring already there?

Maybe I can tap into the Maxxfan (it's the 5100 model with 12V).

Mine was coiled up and secured inside the top rear cupboard. It was an option we ordered.
Yes that is always power on and not hooked to the brake lights. That is what I hooked my camera too. I did have the prewire included in my build but never got a response from ETI where the camera prewire was - a closely guarded secret.

Yes there are 2 of these in my trailer - but they are house power - always on. So I had to put that switch inline to turn power to the camera off and on.
