Hi all!
As of Sunday I have my very own brand new Escape 5.0 sitting in my driveway... after driving 2,500 miles from Indiana to pick it up in person, then 2,500 miles back home. It was a bit of a trial by fire for myself, my truck, and my trailer, but all seem to have passed with flying colors.
ETI themselves were unfathomably helpful throughout the whole purchasing process - my only regret is that I didn't lean more on their excellent customer service because every time I asked anything of them they massively exceeded my expectations. I made a couple mistakes that I thought for sure were going to be a huge boondoggle, but Escape went out of their way to fix things incredibly quickly the moment I asked.
My build sheet was very barebones as I intend to do some substantial modifications myself, but even camping in the trailer unmodified and barely furnished on the return trip was enough to clearly show that the product itself is excellent.
Consider me a convert, I'm so excited to use my 5.0 more.
Finally, a big to this forum, as the resources here have been a huge help for planning this whole thing out.
