Thrilled to report we finally decided to order an Escape E23 twin. The process so far has been smooth, speaking to a lot of nice people at ETI. We have decided to pick the trailer up in Chilliwack, so a long and meandering road trip to and fro from The North Dallas, TX area is planned.

Hopefully, we can be asking the Escape community the right questions to help make our journey a memorable one.

Congratulations on your E23 build Genebuilder,

The excitement and anticipation, begins....... Start making your list of things to put in it and where you'd like to travel to.

We got our E21 delivered to North Dallas Texas (Lewisville) and picked it up on 9/11/2023.

We've had nothing but fun with ours. And the adventures are still coming.

Happy for you guys.....

Cheers to ya..... and Happy Trails..........Jack

Congratulations on your E23 decision Gene! I’d suggest booking a couple of nights at a campground relatively close to Chilliwack. That’ll give you a chance to check everything out & return to ETI for warranty repairs in the event you find anything.
After picking up our 5.0 in March, we had a faulty furnace & escape hatch crank that wouldn’t open the first night. We returned to ETI for repairs & they discovered a screw that had penetrated the roof, from below, so they added that to the repair list & kept the trailer overnight for the fix. I found the folks at Escape to be very responsive & wanted to make things right.
You’ll find several nearby campground options on this forum. We chose Bay View State Park campground, south of Bellingham, WA (about 90 minutes away from Chilliwack).
Enjoy the journey!

Congrats! We absolutely love our E23 Twin! Picked it up at the factory in April and spent 3 weeks camping down the Pacific Coast!

If we were to do it again, we would request the following...
1. Install an interior pair of 12 inch doors under each twin bed for easy access to the storage under the beds.
2. Install an interior pair of 12 inch doors on the back dinette seat, close to the door for easy access to the storage under the dinette.
3. Install a 36 inch round table on the Springfield base. The large table is simply too big.
4. Ensure they are using regular solid 5 inch ducting for the propane furnace --- the flexible aluminum ducting can cause problems with the sail switch.

We love everything about the trailer --- this is our 2nd one, we upgraded from an E19!

Enjoy!

MN Traveler. I like your upgrade ideas. We hope to have our E23 ready to pick up mid September. Weather should still be decent. Hope to wander around Canada a bit and then head down the coast like you did. How does it tow?

Congratulations and welcome to the Escape community, we're so thrilled to have you! From everyone here at Escape thank you so much for choosing us for your travel adventures!
