My name is Brian, and my wife and I are new to camping, RVs, and new to Escape. We were just told that our build date could move up to this calendar year, so we have many questions to this community on options, and general feature use. We are trying to decide between a 17B and a 19. We like the 19 because of the oven option.

Also, has anyone changed the door pulls on the cabinatry? We arn't thrilled with the design and wonder if anyone has ordered without, so to install different ones later.

Please let us know any comments or advice that you care to share.

Thank you!

Welcome to the group! I’m sure Escape will do a no install on the handles but you will not receive any discount for leaving them off. It will also be difficult to open them with no handles installed. It might be better just to let them install and then switch them out later. Just a thought.

For my configuration ETI agreed to not install any cabinet door/drawer pulls and to not drill the doors/drawers for that hardware.

There was no discount offered so I specified 'deliver all hardware loose' to which they also agreed.

I'll be installing pulls of my choice with drill-centers different from those used by ETI.

Nope, don't have the trailer yet, my completion date is 39 days from today.

As long as the holes line up. My buddy provided pulls to ETI for his build. They were chrome rails from Ikea and double as towel bars, so the holes were about 8 inches apart.
The good old days.

Thanks for all the responses. These are very helpful. I think we will go with no handles to start and install after delivery.
