Hey all, Matt and Pat here, new to the Escape forum. Over the years, we have bounced up from tents to a Casita then a Forest Rivers. We are now in the process of ordering the Escape 5.0. I have no doubt that this forum is a treasure trove of knowledge, and will no doubt ask a ton of questions. We look forward to the road trip to B.C. and our new adventure in the 5.0. . . Matt

Welcome! You certainly won't have to travel far to go to the Matagorda Madness rally!

Have you seen a 5.0TA yet? Even if you have, I know questions come up when you are going through the build sheet process. If you're ever going to be up around Austin I'd be happy to arrange to show ours to you.

David, thank you so much for your offer, and especially so in the times of covid. If you don't mind, I'll be asking several questions as we have the same tow vehicle. Unfortunately I did now notice that our new 2020 Ram did not come with a brake controller, so I'll shop for an aftermarket unit. I'll also be researching a bed hitch, as we've only had bumper pull in the past. I look forward to picking your brain for insight. Matt

Welcome to the forum! My Dad grew up on a farm outside Palacios in the 30's & 40's. He graduated from high school there in 1945 I think. Been thru there a few times but it's been a long time.
We ordered a 21C and will receive it in February. It's very exciting.
